Intermission

No comments:
Thanks to all of you who read living it up tall!  I want to let you know it's time for me to take an intermission.

Writing a blog is a lot of work and running elle mayers (activewear for tall women) takes up most of my time.  So I can't  focus properly on the blog and do it well.  Instead of letting it linger from time to time and you wondering where I went, I decided to stop for a bit.

In the meantime, you can find me living it up tall! on Facebook and Twitter.

Look forward to seeing you there!

For the Friend Who Motivates Me

No comments:
L. Mayers
I have a friend who keeps me on my toes.  If I get behind in posting to this blog and delivering a little inspiration I get a reminder that she's looking for something new.  And I know things are getting stale.

Yesterday I got the nudge.  So this post was created especially for her as well as the quote above!  Thank you!

1 Day 'til 2012. Delete It!

No comments:
Tomorrow is January 1, 2012.

A new day!  A new year! You now have Your 2012 plan.  It will look something like this.

12.  A gift I'll give next year
11.  I can feel  _________ whenever I want
10.  I want to stop ...
9.    I've always wanted to try ...
8.    Someone I want to get in touch with
7.    What I love and is important to me
6.    Something I want to deal with
5.   A health/fitness goal (maybe)
4.   My summer
3.   Something I want to change
2.   Something I want to do more than anything
1.   DELETE

One last thing.

Take a serious look at your list right now.  Is there anything on it you have no intention of doing? Yes?

Delete them from the list. Yes, get rid of the stuff you know you won't do.

Is there anything you want to add or change?  Do it now.

There.  Now you can focus on the things you intend to do in 2012. Keep your list with you.  Look at it often.  Break things down into small steps.  And enjoy any surprises that come up along the way and adjust as needed.

Thank you for coming along for this little ride.

If you need a little inspiration to get started,  check back tomorrow.

Happy New Year's Eve!

2 Days 'til 2012. I Want to But...

No Buts...

Whether you think you can or whether you think you can't, you're right.
Henry Ford

What is the ONE thing you want to do more than anything but you're stopping yourself?

Anything at all. Maybe something that will take more than a year.

Add it to #1 on the list and get started in 2012.  Look what Ford did!

Tomorrow's the last day and it's easy.  See you then!
